Experiential Training
Experiential learning is another aspect of learning that is often overlooked. Most learning and training is focused on content, which is fine when new information is needed. However, application and retention occur through practice. After all none of us become experts by reading a book, we must practice and learn from (reflect on) our mistakes.
Experiential learning is structured to enable people to experience for themselves what is working or not. When people become conscious of their patterns of behavior, then can they choose to shift or retain a pattern.
Harnessing the Power of Experiential Learning
This powerful 3 day program provides hands on experience in participating and facilitating experiential activities.
Covers theory, application and impact that experiential training can bring to your trainers repertoire. You will understand how experiential learning can be used to enhance the retention of any trainings by increasing the level of involvement by the participants in the learning process and also by helping them apply it more readily to their lives.
This will include balancing agenda to participant involvement. As part of the program participants will have the opportunity to lead and receive feedback that will help them become more comfortable blending experiential learning into their presentations.
Participants will receive a manual that can be used as a reference guide on the main learning points and will include activities. Another focus will be on designing, selecting, adapting and blending experiential processes and activities into training presentations.
